WHAT IS RED MERCURY?????
Red mercury is a chemical substance of unknown composition. It is believed to be used in the creation of nuclear weapons. Such is the secrecy about the manufacturing and creation of nuclear weapons that there is no clear proof whether the red mercury exists or not. However when the substances alleged to be red mercury were analyzed , it was found that they were just common red particles with no use to weaponmakers. Red mercury is therefore considered as nothing but hoax. This substance has been doing rounds in the international market since 1979. Reference to the red mercury was first made in major soviet and western media in 1980s. Even then they did not reveal anything significant about the substance but only mentioned that it was of great importance for nuclear bomb manufacturing. Therefore it is just considered to be a hoax and a method to earn quick money from people who were keen on buying it and charging them $1,800,000 per kilogram.
