All of this started when hafthor decided to  attempt a 501kg deadlift , which would be a world record beating previous record by 1 kg held by eddie hall but he was attempting this at his home gym in iceland. He was actually preparing to do this at a show in dubai but due to the current situation , he decided to do this at his home gym. Then eddie told that even if thor deadlifted that weight he would not consider it as a world record because it was being done in a home gym and said that he did not trust him nor his team in iceland. This did not go well with thor and he posted in reply to that saying he was robbed at the 2017 WSM and it was the same year in which eddie won the worlds strongest man title. He also said that judging was not fair and it was him who deserved to win. Then eddie responded saying that hafthor lost it fair and square. With all the body building events being cancelled it might be the last physique update from big ramy until he decides to compete later in the year in order to qualify for the olympia. Looking from the picture it looks as if he is still in good shape and is probably thinking of competing in shows later this year in order to qualify for the olympia. Many of his fans were left disappointed after he placed 3rd in the 2020 arnold classic. As of now he is not officially qualified for the olympia as he has not won any show this year.
