New Deadlift World Record!!!!!
Now we have our new deadlift world record holder , hafthor bjornsson. He deadlifted 501kg , defeating the previous record held by Eddie hall by 1 kg. He did attempt this at his home gym in iceland due to the ongoing virus scare. He now is the strongest deadlifter in the world. He did take three attempts, the first one being 420 kgs and the second one was 465kgs and the third and final one being 501kgs. Although he did not attempt 520kgs and decided to call it a day at 501kgs. His lift was being live streamed and a lot of people watched it. Inorder to maintain the transparency all the plates were weighed before the lifts as there were doubts raised on the transparency of the lift since it was being done at a home gym.
