REG PARK : ARNOLDS IDOL

Reg park was an english bodybuilder , businessman and actor. He is famously known for being arnolds idol and mentor.
 
Reg was born on 7th june 1928 in leeds , west yorkshire. During his teenage years he excelled at football. In the year 1940 he suffered an knee injury which ruled him out of soccer. While using wwights for rehabiliation , reg encountered a bodybuilding magazine and decided to have a similar body. He was not only muscular but also very strong as he was the only second man to bench press 500lbs during that time , first being Doug Hepburn. At 21 , Reg moved to America where he stayed for 6 months and was noticed by Joe Weider. After which he was featured in alot of magazines. The most impressive thing about reg was that he was a drug free athlete. John Grimek and Steeve Reeves were his inspiration. He was inducted into IFBB hall of fame in 1999. He died on 22 november 2007 in south africa.
